Pedestrian Accident Inflicts Head Injuries

Irvine – A woman walking on an intersection was hit by a vehicle and sustained head injuries Tuesday night, authorities said.

The accident occurred on the intersection of Harvard Avenue and Irvine Center Drive at around 10p.m. involving a westbound Lexus ES 350.

The extent of the woman’s head injuries is yet to be released. The injured victim was immediately taken to a hospital.

Police are still investigating the factors that might have caused to the crash.
