Multi-Vehicle Crash Injures Two

North County - At least two people were injured after a multiple vehicle collision in I-15 occurred Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

Reports indicate that the cause of the accident was the abrupt halting of the traffic on the north bound lane of the I-15 near the state Route 76 at around 7 a.m. A Chevrolet Malibu was able to stop but the succeeding vehicles lost control, and thus, hit the vehicle in front of them.

One of the injured is the motorcycle driver who was thrown off to the center divider causing a fracture in his pelvis and wrists.

Authorities said that the man in the Chevrolet had minor injuries.

Police are yet to find out the reason behind the sudden stop in the traffic. No identities have been released yet.
