Pasadena – A motorcyclist was killed after losing control and being hit by a truck on the 210 Freeway this weekend.
According to a California Highway Patrol, John Street Jr., 36, of Pasadena, was driving his motorcycle at an unsafe speed eastbound on a tunnel that connects two portions of the freeway when he lost control due to the wet road and bad weather conditions.
Street’s motorcycle overturned on the roadway and was hit by a big-rig truck.
The 39-year-old La Puente man who was driving the big-rig said he was not able to avoid striking Street.
