PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Man in Quarrel Gets Out of Car, Killed

San Diego - An El Cajon man who fell over as he gets out of the car while arguing with his girlfriend was run over and killed by a 60-year-old woman near Mountain View Road in Crest Tuesday night, reports said.

The man identified as 43-year-old Cary Floyd Conner was riding in a 1988 Toyota Corolla driven by his 51-year-old girlfriend along the left-turn lane of La Cresta Road at around 7:20 pm when he exited the vehicle. According to reports, the arguing couple just left a convenience store when the accident happened.

Conner was hit by an approaching 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by an unidentified woman after he fell onto the road. He died at the scene.

The 60-year-old driver was not arrested as authorities continue to investigate the accident.
