VEHICLE COLLISION: Man Dies in a Motorcycle-Jeep Collision in Interstate 15

Riverside County - Three lanes of Interstate 15 have been closed to traffic due to a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a Jeep around 6:20, Tuesday morning south of Rancho California Road.

2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider Brent Lee Sherell, 41-years-old, was thrown off his motorcycle into the way of a big-rig after striking the rear end of the silver Jeep. Sherell died on the scene.

Heavy traffic lasted for more than two hours before all lanes of the road were reopened around 9 a.m.
