VEHICLE COLLISION: Man died after 405 Freeway fatal crash

Los Angeles - A man died after a two-vehicle collision on north of 405 Freeway on Sunday at 5:30 a.m.

Brandon David Brown, 31 years old, was heading northbound with his Toyota Tercel when it crash into a dark-colored SUV. He sustained fatal injuries and died instantly.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver of the SUV ran away without helping the victim.

Brown was driving alone when it hit the rear of the SUV. CHP officers were still investigating the cause of the accident.

Authorities issued a SigAlert and most lanes were shut until 9:46 a.m. No other injured people were reported.
