Fresno – No one was reportedly injured after a Fresno police cruiser and an SUV collided at the intersection of Butler and Chestnut avenues early Thursday morning, authorities said.
Reports indicate that an unidentified police officer on a Dodge Charger police cruiser was heading east on Butler Avenue at about 4:30 am and was responding to a disturbance call when the accident occurred.
The Bronco was heading south along Chestnut Avenue when the crash bar of the police car hit the SUV causing it to fishtail, hit a median, and land on its side.
The accident at the intersection caused the streets to be closed for a few hours as authorities investigated the scene.
