Drunk, Speeding Teen Kills Two Passengers

Fullerton – Authorities believe that the 19 year-old driver of a pick-up truck involved in Monday’s solo crash that has killed two passengers was drunk when the accident near Gilbert Street happened.

Reports show that their vehicle, a blue 2006 Toyota pickup was heading east along Coyote Hills Drive when the driver, Jared Berggren of Fullerton, lost control over it and the pickup veered off the road onto an embankment before it struck a tree.

The two passengers, Jacquelyn Ardalan and Miles Christensen, both 19, died on the scene as they were thrown out of the vehicle.

Berggren was brought to UCI Medical Center to treat his injuries.
