Los Angeles – A car crashed and struck two pedestrians and another vehicle Tuesday morning where six people were brought to the hospital, authorities said.
According to Devin Gales of the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash happened in Jefferson Boulevard and Grand Avenue at about 7:09 a.m.
Gales added, a 40-year-old driver drove into a sidewalk and collided with a 40-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, and then the car careened down the street and hit another car that was carrying a 6 year old girl and her parents.
The 40-year-old man and the 52-year-old lady, as well as the 6-year old kid and the driver were brought to the hospital in critical condition.
The parents of the child were also transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation said that the 40-year-old driver suffered from seizures while behind the wheel, but Gales said that the information was not yet confirmed.
