Vehicle Collision: 3 killed, 1 injured in San Diego County collision

Vista - At least three people were killed and one was injured after a jeep struck a parked car on the side of a highway early Friday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, a Nissan Altima pulled over at the side of Highway 78 after one of its female occupants became ill. She and another woman stepped outside and stayed in front of the vehicle.
Moments later, a Jeep Cherokee rear-ended the car, which hit the two women in front. Both women, who were 23 years old and worked at Valley View Casino, were killed at the scene.
Two men, who were inside the Nissan, were not hurt, while a 34-year-old passenger of the jeep also died. No information was given about the injured person.
The crash, which took place at about 12:30 a.m., closed the highway for four hours.
