1 Injured as Bus Carrying HS Band Hits Streetlight

Glendora - At least one person was injured when a bus carrying about 40 members of the San Dimas High School band struck a signal light in Glendora.
According to CHP, the accident occurred at about 10:45 pm when the bus was on its way back from a football game against Monrovia at Citrus College.
The bus was turning east onto Route 666 from the southbound lane of Barranca Avenue when the driver lost control and struck a signal light.
Only one person was reported to have sustained minor injuries.
Initial reports point to rain-slicked roads as the cause of the accident.
